Meat the Porkers isn't your run of the mill North Indian restaurant. The traditional dishes are present, and provide inspiration towards all of our new ideas and inspiration.
The brainchild of Herukh and Aahana Jethwani, Meat The Porkers is an effort of love, started out of their home.
Herukh is an experienced restaurateur, having run and operated Bangles North Indian restaurant (at the time, Malaysia's oldest North Indian restaurant) since the age of 16.
Aahana is a professional photographer, with an eye for design and her own bespoke cake business.
Together, building Asia's first porky Indian Restaurant.
Beginning with a simple concept, the meeting of two of Herukh's favourite dishes, both prepared in totally different styles. Siew Yoke (Chinese roast pork belly) and Hyderabad Fum Biryani (sealed and steamed spice rich rice).
Starting from their home was much to the annoyance of Aahana, having so many strangers at their door.
After much trial and error, our Siew Yoke Biryani was born. Paving the way towards where we are today. Tandoori Pork Ribs, Bacon Cheese Naan, Bacon Wrapped Chicken Tikka.
